We’re meeting downtown for convenience to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . He anticipates getting in around 8, so let’s meet sometime around then. We settled on the Diller Room (1st and University) because of what the Stranger calls a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! atmosphere, although they don’t seem to mind letting me in. Also, they have pizza and beer.

If you’re driving and you can’t find street parking, there are a couple parking garages nearby. In case you’re worried about parking garage closing times, I promise that you will be able to get into and out of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! around the corner (which also has a reasonably cheap evening rate) no matter how late you stay.

I *might* be able to do this. Downtown is never fun and I don’t drink, plus it’s close to my bed time, so there are marks against it... Still, would be fun to hang out again.

That is a pretty damning list of reasons, so I certainly understand if you skip this one! I’m optimistic that there will be more meets (and hopefully more drives like the one you put together) in the future, but it’s always fun to get people together.

S430/500 are the way to go. The newer the better. But you won’t have to worry about the engine or transmission as long as you stay on top of services. Crank sensor would be a good thing to replace right away, just to be safe.

Other than that, front struts, but the tops of those can be resealed with the right tools by someone who knows what they’re doing, so any Benz specialist probably. Floor shifter maybe, especially if someone spilled on it. PSE pump/module maybe. Umm... Yeah...

Honestly the price on that one seems high to me. But then again it’s low mileage, has a bunch of new parts, and is 4matic.

We’ll be doing another cruise this spring or summer. I haven’t put everything together for it yet, but do know that it will likely be north of Seattle - Whidbey Island or Mountain Loop Highway are highly probable, based on the last vote.
